From above, it looks as though some wandering Greeks have carved a theatre into the granite cliffs of Porthcurno. Pack up a picnic (and a blanket!) and watch a Shakesperean play or a modern dance production in the most magical of settings.

Learn to ride the waves and surf at Sennen Cove. Dance with the dolphins as you ride the ‘white horses’ and experience a thrill like no other.

Newlyn Fish Festival

The nearby harbour town of Newlyn is home to Cornwall’s largest fishing fleet. Early-risers will benefit from the very freshest catch of the day if they choose to visit the bustling fish market morning. August bank holiday weekend is when Newlyn celebrates its piscatorial heritage at the annual Newlyn Fish Festival quite a celebratory feel ensues when the whole quay is taken over by stalls and cafes flaunting their wares for the day.

Land's End ...

Land’s End, is a beautiful walk along the coastline where it gets ever wilder and emptier as you near Cornwall’s tip at Land’s End, the westernmost point of mainland England, where the coal-black cliffs plunge into the pounding surf, and on a clear day you may even see the views all the way to the Isles of Scilly.
